The P1 ProHammer is a swing training bat whose usable hitting surface has been reduced, leaving only the zone which pro hitters and coaches regard as the prime area for contact; the narrow edge grain found on all pro wood bats. The narrow hitting surface of the ProHammer demands increased skill by the hitter in order to make consistent contact with the baseball, improving both hand-eye coordination AND wrist control. All of the relevant physical attributes of the P1 ProHammer are similar to a standard 31-inch, 28 oz. wood game bat (including sweet spot location), giving it a swing-feel that is familiar and reassuring to the hitter.
